The Most-Played Game on the Internet Is 35 Years Old
The Modern Version Is Still Evolving
Microsoft hasn’t left Solitaire frozen in 1990. The modern version still receives updates, adding new challenges and card backs themed around Halo, Forza, Minecraft, and Sea of Thieves. It runs on phones, tablets, and browsers. And it still ships with Windows, which means every new computer user discovers it the same way you did — by clicking around and accidentally starting a game.
